E' stato pubblicato il cortometraggio/documentario sul progetto fotografico di Christian Martinelli, girato da Mauro Podini della Helios. Ho avuto la fortuna di assistere alle riprese a Rosignano Solvay, qui potete vedere alcune fotografie scattate in quell'occasione.
The "Cube" is basically an enourmous camera consisting of aluminium plates/mirror. This device, completely analog, is able to produce images of big dimensions and incomparable quality. The images are impressed directly on photographic paper with positive/positive Ilfochrome (ex Cibachrome) colours. Because of the very low sensibility of the paper and not having any intermediate processes, the images result of excellent quality, unique and non-recurring copies. At the same time the "Cube" is an installation of an object with big dimensions, but which, in spite of this, it is presenting itself in a discreet and light way inside the landscape that is hosting it. It reflects the images and at the same time it catches them.
